So one of my computers running CQC is also set up to be a server (NOT Master Server).
It has been running for a long time currently on v 4.7.5
After a power glitch from a storm the other day the only driver on this computer now no longer works. I deleted the driver and when trying to re-install it the "add" option is greyed out. I cannot add any drivers to this server.
I think I have it figured out.
Somehow, and I've never seen this before, the mac of that computer changed.
Therefore the reserve address I had set in the router wasn't working which made the host file incorrect.
Once I redid the reserve address in the router to the new mac address I was able to reinstall the driver.
That's what I thought too. I do know that when I installed it about a year ago it does have the ability to assign whatever mac you want. I thought maybe I had re assigned it some time ago and when the electrical glitch happened it reverted. I'm not well versed in networking though so I don't really know if that is a possibility
