So I am rebuilding a system after a crash and I need to know what version was installed.
I get a message that the installed version is later than the one installing.
The Release notes html file cant be used because I have seen them wrong many times and they match the version I am trying to install.
Is there somewhere else I can get the info from?

The release notes are only updated for official releases. The latest version installed is supposed to be getting written to the Windows registry, but it appears that that must be failing for some reason because I don't see it on this system when I look there. I'll have to look into that.
In the meantime, in terms of the maj/min version, just look in the [cqc]\Bin directory. All of the DLLs are versioned (as part of the name.) You can then just go with the latest available revision release of that version.

Where in the registry - its an older version so it may be there. the dll say 3_3 and I am installing 3.3 but get that message. Will uninstall and try again to make sure the procedure is being followed correctly
example dll
CIDAppSh_3_3.dll
So version 3.3, but I get the error "The new version is older than the installed version. Installation cannot continue" when installing V3.3

OK, ran a later installer (3.4) and it reports the old version is 3.3.23.
Is a 3.4 upgrade OK without license issues?
If not where do I find the installer for 3.3.23. The link for the downloads does not have CQC_3_3_23.Zip.

It's probably a later revision. The only official 3.3 was 3.3.0. In terms of betas, they went up to 3.3.24 before 3.4 came out. For betas, just add Beta in the path, so:
