It has to be a V2 renderer driver. You can get a list of them in the drivers documentation. Select Media Renderers and the available ones will show up on the right.
For music, you can probably use our own headless renderer, just feeding the sound card's digital output to your A/V processor. For movies, it sort of depends on your setup there, but it's sort of Dune or Plex if you want a hardware player. Plex could be a Roku3 or the Plex HT app running on the computer. Of the two, the latter is the better choice if it's reasonable for you to do. But, if you use a Plex client, you have to use the Plex back end, that's the gotcha. Plex clients only know how to stream from Plex Media Server.
If you don't want to use a Plex back end, then the Dune is sort of the only hardware choice right now. Things are sort of light on controllable hardware players with good enough control to be V2 enabled. If you can find one that can be controlled well enough to support V2 media renderer functionality, we can talk about getting a driver done for it. Unfortunately your Oppo isn't among them.
