I use the HTML trigger driver and love it. Is there any way to trigger events with an email?

IFTTT and the Maker channel?
send email configured with your IFTTT channel, have Maker channel shoot a trigger to HTTP driver in CQC system. run action. ive tested that before, so i know it can work.

I hope it doesn't come to this. First, I am trying to eliminate links in the chain. Second, IFTTT has provided sketchy performance for me.

I vaguely remember there being a driver that could recieve an email to write to fields but it's been years since it was discussed.
Here it is http://www.charmedquark.com/vb_forum/sho...php?t=4677

There's an SMS based one certainly, and a POP3 based one also I'm pretty sure.

Yes, there is an SMTP trigger driver. Was put up here many years ago. It may not have been recompiled for the later versions of CQC if it is still here so Dean may have to step in and help out.
Come to think of it, it may have been that long ago that its now been lost on the forums when there was a hic-up here and some threads were lost. I will check my system at home and see if I still have it hanging around. I don't get rid of much so there is a good chance that it is there Mick
