Winbook TW700 Tablet
#1
I'm sure these have been mentioned before, but I picked one up today as an open box. It feels really nice and seems to be as snappy as one would expect considering the specs. I just installed the CQC IV on it, but won't really be able to test it fully until tomorrow sometime.

As an added bonus, it includes 1 year of Office 365. I picked mine up for $48 + tax.

Dang it's hard to believe that it wasn't that long ago that even not terribly workable, overheating, non-multi-touch type tablets were rare and expensive. They are going to be giving them away soon.

tell me about it; even those old nokia tablets were 2 or 3 times as expensive. im really hoping to get good fluidity out of this thing, because if so im going to go get 4 or 5 more. Smile

Are there docks for these? Or are you going to mount it somehow?

no dock, but ive ordered a right angle adapter for power, and have it on a picture stand which looks nice and works well. its sitting on the nightstand in my guest room. the theory is use the hue tap when you walk in, then the tablet for other control once youre comfy.

i was thinking about getting the nite-ize magnetic mount so i can put it on the wall, but im not sure of the logistics for getting it power.

in hand, the tablet seems to weigh less than the ipad mini.
