Are we talking about the same Start Menu. The one in the lower left corner of Windows 8.1. The location that also contains the choice of shutting down or logging out?
If that is the case, there is no CQC section showing up. If it's somewhere else, I need my nose pointed at the food dish.

PROBLEM SOLVED:
I kept looking through old posts on the subject and found one where Dean pointed out that the two default ports are 13516 and 13517. Mine both installed as 13517 which I thought was strange, but I didn't mess with it since it was default.
After reading Dean's post, I changed the first one to 13516 and all of a sudden I had my test button on the screen. Works perfect.

I assume you mean on the iOS side it did this, right? The CQC installer didn't set both ports to the same thing did it?

No, it would have been the App from Apple. I am certain I didn't mess with it. I remember the first time I looked at it I thought it strange they were the same.
