Urgent: The Triggers tab does not show in the Manage Events console
#1
CQC Version 4.3.916

Odd thing started happening. When I click "Administer the Event Server" option I receive an error pop up:

Title: An error has occurred!
Body: An error occurred while trying to read triggered events.
[Close] [Details] [Save to File]

Clicking the [Details] button bring up another popup:

Title: Error Details [Proc=CQCClient]
Facility: CIDOrb
Error#: 0/0/0
Severity: Failed
Error Class: Lost Connection
Body: The server at 10.83.106.155:1311 has closed the connection
[Close]

I then click [Close] on the 2nd pop up.

I then click [Close] on the original pop up.

the Manage Events window appears, but no Triggers tab.

This is logged in the CQC Logger:

11/06 16:29:59-AUTOSERVER01, CQCEventSrv, CIDOrbSrvSpoolThread18
{
CIDSock, CIDSock_StreamSocket.cpp.1090, Failed/Out Of Resource, Error: 5005/1023/10055
Socket write operation failed
No buffers
CIDSock_StreamSocket.cpp - 1154
CIDOrb_ClientConn.cpp - 507

}
11/06 16:29:59-AUTOSERVER01, CQCClient, CIDOrbClientSpoolThread38
{
CIDOrb, CIDOrb_ClientBaseHelpers.cpp.728, Failed/Lost Connection
The server at 10.83.106.155:13511 has closed the connection
CQCKit_EventSrvClientProxy.cpp - 243

Please advise?

Thanks

It sounds like there's a networking issue. The 'no buffers' error typically means that somehow sockets aren't being closed and it's out of sockets. You might have to cycle that machine. If that makes it happy again, then that's pretty got to be what it was.

If you are on a client machine, do that one first to see if the issue is on that side. Else, it must be the server machine.

Let me know if that helps.

Are you by any chance running the NetMon driver? There was such an error in it that was sine fixed.
