so my setup for this particular observation is this:
Both CQC-MS and CQC-MMS are set up as CQC servers/can run drivers etc...
my desktop is just a convenient location to work from... far away from the spiders in the crawl space where the servers are... I think the spiders like the heat generated by the servers... they seem to congregate around that area..
so I load up the Admin Interface on my desktop, select the Admin Server Drivers, and select CQC-MMS as the server to admin/host...
I add a bunch of V2 Sim type drivers, and a V2MyMovies driver...
the MyMovies driver isn't connecting... I figure out that I set up the OBDC on my desktop instead of on CQC-MMS, oops, obviously that wont really work very well... RDP to CQC-MMS to set up the OBDC stuff there, and notice that there is an OBDC source already set up there... I did have a v1 MyMovies driver loaded at one point in time...
so 1st observation is that when installing MyMovies Driver on CQC-MMS it only looks for OBDC drivers on my desktop... (ie where the AI was launched, not at the 'CQC host' or whatever you call it...)just fwiw, it would be nice if it looked at the host...
2nd observation, I started up the AI directly on CQC-MMS, and it claimed there where no drivers loaded... none, not even the pre-existing ones...
restarted the CQC service on CQC-MMS and all the old drivers where back/happy, but none of the new ones I added (from BOB) showed up... where did they go?
- CQC-MS -> Master Server running XP, not really important at this point in time, only listed because CQC needs a master server...
- CQC-MMS -> ex Master Server + Media Server, now just a Media Server, running Win7
- BOB -> desktop running Win7, not sure why I named my desktop BOB, but it seemed like as good a name as any...

NOTE: As one wise professional something once stated, I am ignorant & childish, with a mindset comparable to 9/11 troofers and wackjob conspiracy theorists. so don't take anything I say as advice...
