Auto Gen Issue
#1
I do not have enough brain power to diagnose this tonight, but I am getting the following error fairly consistently;

The command target with the indicated id could be found. Name='ThermoTileVal', Id='IWdgTarget:ThermoTileVal'

Sorry - But I will not have time to figure it out until tomorrow night.
Thanks,
Dave Bruner

Hmmm... I'm guessing I must have let something related to the thermo stuff stay in even if thermostats aren't enabled, so the command is still there but the thermo tile got removed because you don't have one enabled. Oy! This stuff is so tricky to get right. I do all this testing, but then every little tweak towards the end to fix a little issue seems to bite me.

Let me check that out and I'll get another drop up tonight that takes care of it before I move on, so that I don't have to leave it whacked for days.

Yeh, a reference to one of the thermo tile widgets is being referenced even though the tile has been removed. It was in the preload of the tiles template and I missed it. It was correctly being skipped in terms of running the action, but it was still referenced and that's enough to whack it.

I'll get that fixed.

And the reason I got through was that, to speed up some checks at the end, I turned off some of the configured rooms (which have different combinations of stuff enabled), since I was having to repeatedly re-generate. I forgot to turn them back on at the end and so I missed the error.

Anyway, .14 fixes that issue, so it should be ok now. Sorry about that. Speed kills I guess.

Hi Dean,

I noticed a minor display/position inconsistency with the auto-generated thermo stuff. The Heat/AC tile on the main page has the High SP on the left and the Low SP on the right. The thermostats page has them positioned opposite, Low SP on the left and High SP on the right...

Oops, I'll correct that. How is it working for you otherwise? Is this something that you consider a really significant product improvement?

It's working out great!!! :-D I do indeed consider it a very significant improvement! It took me about 15 minutes to enter the Elk config info and do the auto-gen. I'm just controlling lights and furnaces now but the ease and minimal amount of time to go from just playing around in the field browser to a fully functional tablet (Dell Venue 11) control interface is truly amazing! High WAF is an added bonus...

I'm now motivated to get my TV/AVR/music/movies integrated next. Keep up the GREAT work!

Thanks,
Dave
