What's the latest version of IE supported by CQC?

On the computer running Interface Viewer, I'm way back on IE6. I'd like to update this to the latest possible so I can add features to pages being viewed by the web browser widget, like JQuery.

Is there any restriction on what version of IE I can use, other than what the operating system supports?

There shouldn't be any restrictions. However, I think that embedded IE engines are always run in a compatibility mode. You can change this via a registry setting, so look around for that info if you want to force it to run in the actual mode of the latest version you install.
