I've been running a older HP thin client in my kitchen. However, with Windows XP being depreciated, and Dean leaning to dropping support for XP too, I've been looking for a replacement. I got e-mailed a deal today from Newegg.com. It is for a refurbished HP computer with a dual core E2180, 2 GB ram, an 80GB hard drive and most importantly, Windows 7 Home Premium. All this for $89.99 after a $10 rebate.
Obviously it isn't a very powerful machine, but it should be more than enough to run a CQC client. I've been running my thin client with much, much low specs than that and it works just fine. I just thought I would throw that out there in case there are other users in my same situation. Given that a Windows 7 Home Premium license runs about $89 or more, I felt that an entire machine (even if it is a refurbish) is well worth the price.
