I'm in the process to maybe get this processor. Is there a driver for it? If not who can write one?

If no one else volunteers, I can probably do it for a small fee, assuming we can find the protocol documentation. I don't have that model in any of my protocol info I currently have, since I guess it's fairly new.

I'd be willing to chip in if it supports the SR7007 as well. Looks like many of the commands overlap - there's just more Aux inputs than the SR7007. But if it's too complicated, I can butt out

This driver will be in the 4.4.903 release. But, if anyone wants to try this guy out, here is a driver pack. You will need to be on 4.4.902 or beyond for the V2 driver since it uses new device class stuff. I think it also uses a floating point rounding method that was added in 4.3 or somewhere thereabouts.

If you use the V2 version, not that that the Tuner class requires current frequency and next/previous preset fields, but this device doesn't support them, so as per the spec they just do nothing. It also doesn't provide feedback on the current favorite channel, so the current preset field is write only.

The tuner preset is implemented in terms of the favorite channels scheme, not the tuner specific stuff. Also, there's obviously some error in the firmware or spec, since the selection of the tuner source doesn't work. I tried some variations to see if it was just a typo in the protocol spec, but nothing worked. So you can can't select the Tuner input.
