JRiver MC18

For some reason CQC is showing "0" movies when I direct it to my xml file that I exported from JRiver. I opened the file with a XML viewer and all the movies are there. What am I doing wrong here? Here is a sample of the beginning of the xml file.

How do I correct that? Is it a JRiver setting? I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it is always the same. :-(

I dunno. I assume you are letting it scan automatically or something? If so, I guess it's not finding any music. One issue is that you seem to be pointing at your My Movies directory, which would probably only contain movies, not music, right?

I had MyMovies at one time and got rid of it... I am now using JRiver and XBMC. Strange thing is when I select movies, the autogen says all music 1/0. When I select music it says the same. Do I need to go through all my folders and remove any reference to "MyMovies"? I just tried directing it to one JRiverv xml file for one particular movie and it still shows the same.

The JRiver driver doesn't deal with movies, it only understands music. So it won't pick up any movies. JRiver itself may these days, but it was primarily a music oriented product originally, and the driver only loads music items.

Ooh... That expains part of it. I will delete the JRiver Library and try music only then.

Has anything been done to the driver so it can support movies now too? The new MC19 JRiver does everything including TV recording very well and it would be nice to be able to fully integrate into CQC too.

It is still the original driver, when JR was music only. It would take a fair bit of work to expand it to movies, but it can be done here at some point.

I don't know... They do still have the xml way though. If you want I can give you my license for MC18, and you can try it out. I have upgraded to MC19 so I have no need for the earlier license. :-)
