I just hope my mirror doesn't have to run Windows 13 to use it :-)

"What happened to your face?"
"Yeah, couldn't see myself shaving this morning, my mirror crashed, I think it has a virus..."

What an awesome add.

it paints a future that I think we geeks are all looking forward too - realsitically though, glass such as that used in the park will not last - its an idealistic advertisment.

Some of the ideas I had 30 yers ago such as the tinted glass inthe car and house windows.

The Photovoltiac roof glass is a good concept. The company I work for has developed a roofing material (we produce Colourbond metal roofing) with PV cells attached making your whole roof one big solar panel. So some of this is not new, but very pretty with glass.

Love the concept of the blackboard now being touch glass.

I looked at Colorbonds website and all I saw is they have a coating that reflects the heat... Nothing that said it did solar. Did I miss something?

And that sort of view of the world also completely ignores germs.

Not sure if its mainstream yet. It may still be in development, but its not a secret from what I understand.
