Well I just ordered one of these for our FP which is not a SmartTV after watching a Category5 video from their website...

From what I have read I can run XBMC off of it and watch my movies from the NAS.

Progress report:
I got it up and running with XBMC for Android and it runs pretty good. I have never been happy with wireless in my house so I can't fully judge it until I get my USB to gigabit adapter in (hopefully it will work with the unit). At this point I am seeing some blurring of fast action when I view a movie and other parts are like they were sped up. I am hoping the wired LAN piece will work. If it takes care of this problem I will be happy with the box. The box is about half the size of a iPhone. I also can add 32GB of external storage which might be usable as a cache drive... If I can do that I think it would even eliminate the wireless speed as a problem. If I still had my HD Movies on the USB drive I would try that route but they are all on the NAS. The unit comes with Google Play, Netflix, Pandora and a few others. One thing I was hoping for was to be able to stream Amazon Prime with a app, but so far I have not been able to find a Amazon Prime app for the Android. I know I can most likely stream Amazon as a PC but I was hoping for the App way as there are some TV Shows and Movies that must be streamed via Xbox, PS3, Kindle etc.

Amazon prime won't stream to Android. Dumb thing is IMO that is what they could actually charge for.

I could not get it to play without dropouts so I picked up another NUC... This time I got a Celeron. I figure since it is only for a Media Server it will be fine. I would have loved for the other one to work as it was 1/2 the price and ultra portable.
