Where did you hear that it was 200wpc?

I thought it was strange that the Marantz is more expensive than the Denon and my 4520 doesn't even do 200 wpc.

You could always get the least expensive Marantz that has all the features you want and get PREAMP outs... Then buy a Emotiva power 3 or 5 channel power amp to get you up to the power you want. :-)

how many channels are you looking for for processing... 7.2, 9.2, 11.2? Is single sub ok?

Crutchfield has the Denon AVR2313... 7.2 channels, 2 HDMI outs, 6 HDMI inputs and 4k pass through for $599.99 and free shipping. If you call Craig at AVS he might have it for less or have something even better for the same or less. I believe the 3313 has 3 HDMI outs plus everything else the 2313 has.

interesting link, will have to check that out. 7.1 should work, currently only one sub, was contemplating a second but wife doesn't know that. Plus its on other side from kids bedroom, so that may not fly.

Years ago I ran 4 subs in a room and I just used RCA "Y"s to split it out to more subs. I would setup one and then disconnect it and setup another until I had done them all. When all of them were setup I hooked them all up and set my level... It worked nicely. My new 4520 will actually calibrate 2 subs individually and does 11.2.
