We've set a time for our first CQC Google Hangout. Hopefully they will be as enlightening and fun as the old CQC webinars we use to do years ago. I don't have a specific agenda, but I think it would be great to talk about some of the new features that have been introduced in CQC over the last few releases. It would be great to see other people's installation as well, so if you are willing to talk about your system we'd love to have you do so.

This will be my first event that has a "hangout"; do you know if you have to manually add the hangout to the event? I was looking to see if there was a login feature, as I was contemplating using google hangouts inside events for family get-togethers...

In all of the (two) hangouts I have participated in since G+ introduced it, the leader creates the event and invites folks, sometimes by circles. I believe s/he can mark it public which means anyone who knows it is there can join. This is the first time I have done one like this though.

Well this is the first hangout that I have tried to schedule, so I could totally be doing it wrong. I'll certainly send out an official invitation before the event for those that respond that they are coming. But without contact information it was hard inviting potential participants when I set the event up.

I have the software on my Android and desktop... How do I set it up for the Hangout?
