Are some of these playlists and not albums? It may not being counting playlists as titles, I'd have to check. If they are, they should show up under a playlists category.

i've reloaded several times and nothing shows up in the window other than database loaded. these are definitely songs and albums I am talking about. itunes shows good metadata but many albums and artists don't show up at all in the repository.

Find one that isn't showing up, and make a change to it in some way. This should send a change notification to the tray monitor. See if it shows up after you do that. And you should see a change notification show up in the tray monitor's iTunes tab when you do that.

Maybe there's an issue with the ignored counter getting updated as well. I'll check that. But, make sure that the ones that aren't showing up have an artist name, title name, and correct track number (which is used to put them into correct order.) If not, they'll be ignored.

Track number!!!
I didn't realize that this was required info and I have A LOT of songs that have a blank track number. I populated a few and the tray app added them to the repository so the root of the problem is figured out. The ignored titles counter definitely seems to have something wrong with it.
Now my bigger problem is how I get track numbers populated. Does anyone know if iTunes match will clean up all of the metadata info when it does it's thing? And if so, if I cancel the service will I be left with the cleaned up files or my originals?

Are the tracks showing up in the right order even if the track number isn't there? If so, perhaps there's something else I could use to get the ordering.

It was not correctly getting the counts. I fixed that and added a failed counter as well, and added some more verbose logging. In high it shows the name of each new title or playlist it's adding. In medium it will show what it can about any that are being ignored due to not having required info.

No, you were right that tracks with no track number are not loaded into the repository at all.
