i had a crash last night. the only thing i can see is that i had some windows updates that came through.

anyone else?

no, dean. i have it set to download but not install.

i have now changed it to advise when new updates are avalible only.

If it just downloaded and didn't install, then it's hard to see how it would have been an issue. Is the same for you as Bob? I.e. it's not dying while you are using it, it's just suddenly not there? Have you checked to see if the process is still there like in his case but the icon is gone?

yes, just like bobs. no tray icon and no functionality, but the process was there. memory was about 1700k. i had checked it in the preceding days and it was about the same. so nothing abnormal there.

i killed the process and reexecuted it to no avail. then i restarted the CQCservice and that didnt do anything. ultimately restarted the system and everything is back fully functional .

Mine survived another day. Stable at 4MB. Don't know if it downloaded updates, but system hasn't rebooted since 3/30.

I have been watching my server and the tray app is taking between 1,900k and 2,300k fairly consistently. When doing an iTunes meta data update, it takes upwards of 5,000k, but then always seems to go back down.

Mine was hung again last night. Memory usage was 7.5MB. Killed the process and restarted and all was well again.

Can you see anything in perhaps the Windows event log?

Dean, Any chance you can put the CQC version in the Tray app? maybe a right click "About"? or add another Tab like "Status" and list version and status of the drivers online/off line?
