Yeah, that is what I sayng before - the only thing that appears in the action trace is when I launch the tstat template:
TRC: Start Action
CMD: 001. (1ms) - Overlay-Main::LoadOverlay
P1=\User\HVAC
TRC: End Action [Result=Success]
No dialog appears as a result of pressing the inc/dec buttons.

Oh, ok, that's because no action is being invoked in that case for an inc/dec button. The button itself is doing the work.
Flush the logs, put the driver into verbose log mode, and press the button to get it to fail then get another log dump so that I can be sure I'm seeing the output of that failed operation. Then you can put it back to regular logging mode.

Dean - I sent you an email with some screen shots. I'm not able to log any errors.

You didn't by any chance set the thermo to one temp range (F vs. C) and install the driver with the other option set or something like that, did you?
And the device may reject any attempt to set the cool SP lower than the high, and vice versa, so see if might be that.

No - It pretty much has been functioning as exepcted for a long a time - no changes to configuration that I initiated. The only thing I can think of was sudden power outage cause from storms a week or so ago. After that, I had to cycle the Aprilaire equipment (8811) to reconnect.
I don't see any other issues that occurred from that incident.

Do a reconfigure on the driver. You don't have to complete the process, but just run through the settings to make sure that they are all correct still, particularly any F/C type of settings.
And if there was an outage, definitely make sure that any settings in the Apriilaire itself are still correct.

Well, call off the cavalry for now. I unloaded and reloaded the driver and all is well. Probably should have started with that first.
thanks for yor time.

Hmmm... I wonder if CQC perhaps came back online before the thermos were completely recovered from the outage or something, and got some incorrect info when it initially connected. Did the CQC computer go down in the outage as well or did it stay up?

Everything went down at the same time. I suppose I should invest in a UPS for the MS.
Also, the Aprilaire stuff is pretty finicky. Everything has to be just so before it communicates.
