Nov 15, 2010 - Charmed Quark Systems, Ltd is proud to announce the release of Version 3.4 of their CQC product (the Charmed Quark Controller.)
CQC is a comprehensive software based automation and media management product targeting the custom installation market. Being software based, CQC allows the installer to select from an enormous range of off the shelf hardware products to suit the type of installation, and it integrates seamlessly into, and fully exploits, the home network infrastructure. CQC allows the installer to create very powerful and interactive automation solutions in a purely point and click environment, no coding necessary.
Version 3.4 provides a considerable number of technical improvements which have been long requested. It also brings with it a new scalable pricing structure which allows CQC to be more competitive in smaller installations and much more flexible in pricing in general.
We have also introduced a new web site, which is based on Microsoft's Silverlight technology. It allows us to provide a much more interactive web site experience. However, if you cannot access Silverlight from your location or on your particular operating system platform, the old HTML format site is still available and you will be given a chance to select that instead if you need to.
