My music library computer outputs via regular rca jack to my denon amp on the 2nd zone. On that 2nd zone i have a few outdoor TERRA speakers. The sound is very tinny and no bass at all. How can i fix this?
Thanks

Is it very low in volume also? I assume the 2nd zone is powered by the Denon, right? I.e. the speakers aren't powered ones?

You sure you haven't whacked one of the wires and it's grounding out or something?

You need to isolate the problem....
1.) Try another source (i.e. Tuner) to see if it is the pc input
2.) Try another receiver if you have one (to rule out the Denon) or connect to your primary zone on the Denon (to rule out the 2nd zone config).
3.) Try to connect other speakers to the Denon (to rule out the wiring and speakers)
4.) Bring the speakers inside and connect directly to the Denon to rule out wiring.
The 2nd zone on the Denon has separate bass, treble, volume so you may try adjusting those. I have no idea what "low ohms" would mean, typical speakers are 4-8 ohms and the Denon can handle that range.

You mention "a few" speakers. Are there a bunch connected in parallel? If so, that could look like an almost direct short to the Denon.
As the advice above suggests, connect one speaker to the output of the Denon with a new piece of wire and see how it sounds. If it sounds OK, that tells you your problem is towards the speaker end, not the Denon. If it doesn't sound OK connected direct to the Denon, it might be traceable back to your lash-up with the computer. At least you'll know in which direction to begin further isolation tests.
I doubt you're going to adjust this out with any bass or treble controls.

I am not sure on the GUI/Console/Remote. I just know it is available via the RS232 protocol. If you are running the 3808 driver there are z2Treble and z2Bass fields.

That's funny because I can't even figure out how to change the stupid FM station on the Denon front panel. If CQC ever stops working, I'll be listening to the same channel the rest of my life.
