Audio Distribution
#1
I'm looking for a good solution for distributing audio to 6 rooms. Want to use CQC to control switching and audio. Any recommendations appreciated.

I would say both Russound and Nuvo are good solutions and CQC has drivers for both. I have a Russound CAV 6.6 and ST2-XM that I controlled with the CQC driver without problems.

I agree. I actually have a B&K CT6xx whole house system which I really like. I think it probably sounds the best out of any of the systems out there. But the Nuvo and Russound just have so many options available like the iPod docks, etc that they are really nice to integrate with. Given the ability to use the Nuvo keypads with CQC, I say the nod probably goes in that direction.
Brian - a long time user that rarely messes with the system now
Other systems used:
SageTV w/ cablecard tuner & multiple extenders for viewing
BlueIris and IP cameras for CCTV
Incredible PBX for home phone

Ripper, are you same ripper that got a AI Touchbook? If so, are you trying to get the IV or the RIVA client running on it.

Thanks, Bryan

Yes it is Dave, I moved all my domains and haven't moved all the new content over yet but plan to get it done as soon as I have some time to reorganize.
