So did you ever get the Virtual Box software to drive two touchscreens independently, while operating from a single PC?
One computer, two IVs?

As long as you don't need the absolute full power of the built in IV, you can run an IV and then multiple RIVA clients on one machine. I could be wrong but one of the few things the RIVA client can't do is some of the web widgets.

G'day
If you dont want to go down the virtual path, you can look at nComputing (http://www.ncomputing.com/). They have these little (and i mean little, 100mm x 100mm) box that connects to main computer (XP/Vista/7, or 2003/2008 server), and you get your own desktop. Its sort of like RDP, but its not RDP, so you dont get chopping video/sound. On the box you have a usb port, keyboard/mouse, vga and lan. They are totally silent. The software that you install on the real pc (xp/vista etc) then creates a sort of terminal server for the thin clients. I am currently trialling them out for a customer that needs 300 of them (1 per site), and so far quite happy with them. They also have a unit (L series) that uses a PCI card in the main machine, although this method is cheaper, the N series just uses a network cable and the main PC's network card. Paul

That is a really neat idea. Any idea if they work with touchscreen? Looking at their website and user forum, I don't see any indication that they do. That could be a deal killer for a typical CQC IV.

Agree no touch makes it pointless. I think the first part depends on if the touch screen was ps/2 or usb, as the usb port cant be used for a mouse or a keyboard (not sure why). Paul
