I've read that a lot of CQC users use the SAI PIM for their UPB installs. Is there any reason why I can't use a HAI PIM? If not, can the SAI PIM communication with any of the HAI switches (GenI or GenII)?

Is there any reason why I can't use a HAI PIM? No except you have to get the correct cable. The HAI PIM uses a different connector to connect to a HAI panel.
