Here is a link to a huge lot of used DT Research wireless touch screens. Trust me when I tell you, these things can take some serious abuse and I would even describe them as close to kid proof (my wife has dropped ours many, many times with no issues).
These may work really well for CQC...

Will the interface viewer run on these or will they need a new viewer using RIVA to be developed?

I don't know. I'm easily the most ignorant guy on this board. Someone else should be able to explain what it takes to get CE running.

Windows CE 5.0 = RIVA. I'm 99.9% sure of that.

I assume there us an rdp client though so we could use the same trick as the nokias.

If these are CE, I'm assuming Mark's RIVA client will run on these things shortly after the beta goes gold.

Hopefully he will chime in at some point. I want something with a little more screen real estate and these might fit the bill.
Edit: Anyone looking at buying there is a relatively active community
Here that has instructions and such on how to upgrade the units to XPe or even a full install of XP pro.

The major negative thing I see about these units is the lack of a docking station. So keep in mind that you will have to manually plug in and unplug the units if you want to carry them around. This is similar to the Nokia Internet Tablets and it is a real pain in the rear. Don't expect family members to plug the units in. Instead you'll find them with dead batteries all the time.
Unfortunately, very few of these wireless units have docking stations. A few of the UMPCs do (but many do not), but that is a whole different price range.
Just a FYI for those people that are considering these units.
