Power surge today fried the 1132. Damn storm not only broke my X10 controller but dumped about 1.5" of rain in like 15 minutes and I had left a window open in the office. grrr!
I am now in need of a new 1132U and am having no luck with eBay or Google searching. If anyone has an extra, one they no longer use, or a link to someone who sells them, I would be really appreciative. If this gets around to Dean, since I have a CM11A laying around, a driver wouldnt be too awful bad instead. :-D

Doh...I did that recently. Big storm comin'....close up all the windows, and head next door to the folk's house....see the rain absolutely smashing against their windows and I keep thinking "Man, it sure is a good thing I closed our windows...".
Missed one. :-( And of course, it was on the rainy side of the house (rain when it comes here goes horizontal, not vertical). No major damage...just a wet couch and rug, and 3 remote controls. But once dried out, they worked again.

It seems that they are somewhat of a collector's item these days. I heard one went for $25,000 at a recent Sothebys auction. I think it was used by some famous dictator to control torture equipment or something.

heh ... they really do seem to be collector items. i cant find one at all. anywhere. its frustrating. i have a cm11a and a 1132CU, but neither work with CQC. no problem buying a 1132U, but i need to find it first.
torture equipment is exactly right. making lights go on and off with no reason, throws your internal clock into a fritz. :-D

Maybe sensors on all the windows, a water sensor and a notification task for when the rain starts and a window is left open??
