Formatting STDRtv time / date
#1
I want to get the current system time but in a different way than the pre-defined RTV formats. In an action, I want to be able to get it in the format of hh:mm p so that I get 1:24 PM or 3:30 AM.

How can I do this?
I tried things like %(StdRTV:CurDateTime,"%(u,2,0):%(s,2,0)") but just go errors.

I'm not sure what version you are on. In the latest betas, you can get the current time into a variable and format it out I think. Working with times in the 2.4.0 version is a lot harder.

Unfortunately I can't go to the beta until the DNV is there. I use that way too often now to be left without it.
