In the meantime, there's no need to wait if you can find the proto commands on RemoteCentral. I can convert those to GC format for you.

Palsonic TV - 7600WS
Teac DVD - DV-3120
Sherwood Receiver - RX2030R
Panasonic TV - TX-33V30X
Toshiba DVD - SD-1300
Sony MiniDisc - MDS-JE520
as a start. There is more
From what I can gather, the CCF files can contain multiple device codes.
Is there the possibility of creating a utility that can learn the codes and then allow them for export so you dont have to be bothered with requests.

There is already such utility as far as learning them. The IR driver system does that. But we just don't have a driver for the receiver that learns in the native GC format yet. We'll work on that post-2.4.

Just to clarify
The utility that you are talking about is the one that learns to remote codes and then you assign an action to it.
Can that code then be exported and converted in some manner?

Yes, that's what the IR client side driver does. Those are exportable and importable. They are just XML based text.

I downloaded the utilities from the global cache website. Are they the ones that you are using?
If so, did you manage to install them on anything higher than .Net 1.1. I have .Net2 and it wont install, had to dig out a PC without it and install 1.1 on there to run it

I am pretty sure you can have multiple versions of the dot net framework on a PC. Each program should just use the version it was compiled for. I guess I could be wrong, but I had 1.1 and 1.1 programs and installed 2 and 2 programs and they all still work.

Oh, no, we have our own code for conversion.
