Looking for opinions on video distribution

Really late to the game here, but I've been trying to install this driver for a little bit now and can't seem to get it to connect. I have an 1166 and I've tried switching com ports on my edgeport, new cables, etc... Not sure if this driver is still applicable, I'm using CQC 3.0.20.

Any help would be appreciated. I seem to be getting an odd error, here's my log:
