My touchscreen has a serial connection, so I use a Cybex Longview extender for both VGA and serial connections. I use the USB extender so that I can use a wireless keyboard at the screen.

I've wanted more USB connections at the screen so that I could easily download pictures from my digital camera, etc. That is why I bought the 4 port version for my parents house (they want a system like mine).

And no, I don't have any connections to the seller, other than being a satisfied customer. Wink
Brian - a long time user that rarely messes with the system now

SageTV w/ cablecard tuner & multiple extenders for viewing
BlueIris and IP cameras for CCTV
