I've been looking into customizing web pages, and there are loads of tools for Firefox to do this... can i make CQC use these firefox addons in a browser window ?

I doubt it, since cqc only uses IE for its browser windows...
but I know nothing... so who knows?:-)
NOTE: As one wise professional something once stated, I am ignorant & childish, with a mindset comparable to 9/11 troofers and wackjob conspiracy theorists. so don't take anything I say as advice...

i was afraid of that, Dean any chance we can support another browser ?

It would depend on whether that's supported in the COM interfaces that support embedded browsers. If it does, then it would work. If it doesn't, then we'd not be able to support it. If it does support other browsers, it would be something you configure wrt to default browser I assume. There's nothing in the interfaces that I know of that indicates selection of a particular browser. So it's deciding which one to run, AFAIK.
