It does on mine. Two different PCs exhibit this behavior. (One using Delta 410 over coax, one using Chaintech AV-710 over optical.) I get no volume from CQC audio player or JR Media Center after using TheaterTek and have to reboot to get it back. Anybody seen anything like this/know how to fix it?

What audio device do you have TheaterTek set up to use?

I use the 410 over digital coax also, never had an issue. When you close TT, is it fully closing (ie, in task mgr)

Actually, I have...my HTPC had a Chaintech AV-710, and it had a known bug that would cause it to lose all sound whenever I used specifically the digital out. I'd have to restart some application (forget which) to get it working again.
I don't know if it's the same thing, since the Delta also shows it, and I dont think they even share the same chipset.
The bug was the fault of the sound chipset manufacturer (their driver too), by the way, and they never fixed it, nor appeared willing to.
