Finally got my wireless setup secure and now I notice the ELK M1G won't connect... so I try rebooting it... no luck. I then reinstalled the driver still no luck... I noticed that the port on the ELK M1G is 2601 and the IP is 10.0.0.6, but CQC has the port as 2101. I tried it as 2601 and 2101 but no luck. all I get is awaiting comm rsouece or wait to connect. :-( What am I doing wrong here?

was the elk working before? Did you change anything in the elk?

which wireless what are you talking about? Vivek, all we did was plug my home lan into my Netgear wireless router and now my ELK won't work with CQC but it will with the ELK Software. nothing was changed on the ELK.

Was doing screenshots to show my settings when I was reinstalling the driver..... and it connected. :confused: :-)

Stupid question - did you have ElkRP opened during the time doing config in the Elk? ElkRP takes exclusive control of the port and CQC will be disconnected. As soon as ElkRP closes, CQC will reconnect. That -still- bites me every once in a while when I forget I'm in RP.

I could have sworn last night they were both connected at the same time. I have since close ElkRP. I will have to check tonight. I would have thought that both could access it at the same time since it is IP.:-?
