HVAC: ModBus or BACnet?
#1
I plan order HVAC (main unit and dampers) control system for 6 AC units.

The system can be connected by RS485, the tech guy from company told me that system can be installed for ModBus or BACnet - which option I need to select to easy integrate to CQC?

Thanks in advance.

Modbus is a very well known and can also be used by many PLC's (inductrial variety). I am not that familiar with it, but my preference would be for Mod bus so I can use my GE 90-30

Either way, someone is going to have to write the driver to suit.
