Quote: Looks very cool. Did you finish the software? Where did you get the mounts/panels? That's one of my frustrations.
This was back in the days when I was going to write my own touch screen software, I got the comms working between the master and slave and then I found CQC. So I stopped working on the master end and figured I would just write a driver for CQC and then I sort of decided that perhaps it wasn't such a good idea and that's as far as it has gone.
The panels are standard size Clipsal blank plates that I machined the opening for the screen, and drilled the switch holes in. The advantage is they match all the other fittings and sort of look like they belong.
Quote:Oh Beautiful Hardware ;-))......What micro you using Rohan ????
That one has a BS2 in it for ease of code revision, but the final plan was to use a PIC.
Quote:I see your reading Barry Gordan,s ir info..... was that from Home Automator Mag...??? Great little mag shame its still not around ...lots of diy stuff......
I think I got that off the web, I can't really remember, those photos were taken about 4 years ago and the devices were actually destined for my previous house, so of course the colour is wrong for the new place.
Cheers

You could probably take the Yamaha RX-V1500 off the list, since it's released and no longer really "in progress". I'm not saying I'm DONE with it....but it's certainly on the back burner to add any more capability to it.
And you can remove the ?? from stefand's name...it IS him working on the V1600

That would be the one with the space in front of its name, right?

(The "Y" of "Yamaha" not really being the first letter of the alphabet...)

Hahah...it took me a while to figure out what you mean, and now I know. I had always wondered why when I went to test out my driver, it showed up at the very top of the drivers list. I thought it had something to do with being a user's driver instead of a "system" one...but a space in the name makes more sense. Heheh...that's funny.
Feel free to fix that, Dean. I'm not even sure where the space is.

It's in the manifest file. I've already fixed it for the next release.

I'll admit, it was pretty convenient for driver testing.
And just to calm any fears, it was not an attempt by me for shameless self-promoting......I don't know how to do the shameless variety. :tounge

You can add the BetaBrite LED Display driver as an in-progress driver by me.
