Hey guys!
I have been searching and can't find what I am looking for.
I currently rip all of my movies to my server and use TheaterTek for viewing. I rip the entire movie so I don't lose anything as space is not an issue.
What I am trying to figure out though is how I can kick off the movie but bypass all the extras and the chapter selection screen.
So I would like to press "watch" then the movie just start. Currently I have it start, then go the root menu.
Probably something really easy that I have overlooked or it may not be possible with the way I ripped the dvds.
Thanks for any tips!

I don't know if TT can do this, but
AnyDVD will.

I haven't tried it, but with TT you can set "start points" if you want to go direct to the movie.
You may want to ask on the TT forums as this would be the same regardless of CQC/Meedio/Mediaportal/whatever program you use to kick it off.

Please post it here if you find a solution, because I would LOVE to be able to skip past the non-skippable crap in the front....not the FBI warning so much as the other crap the movie studios put on there...I've had movie previews of utter garbage movies that I could NOT skip past because the studios abuse the non-skip code. It is one of the benefits of anydvd and dvddecryptor, being able to strip all the other stuff off and get just MOVIE.

Well I found what IVB was talking about with the set points. When you start a movie in TT you press CTRL+B and it makes the start point, then the next time it knows where to start.
I haven't tried it yet though. I am trying to figure out if there is a way in CQC to send that CTRL+B command as I don't normally keep a keyboard/mouse on that machine.
EDIT:
I just added a set point, then the next time I fired it up it started right at the movie. Dean would there be a way to add the Set Movie Start cmd to the driver or a way to send the "CTRL+B" cmd from the IV for touchscreen users?

It appears to be supported in the protocol. I'll add it to the list o' things to do.
