I agree we really should figure out a way of making it so we are all not outbidding each other.
I actually have two auto patches right now that I am going to put on to Eba. I have found that I got a bit over-excited (not the first time) and bid on these two not realizing that one would not work for what I want and the other one is not enough for what I want 
Well anyway, if anyone wants more info on them, let me know.

you can't run from the autopatch directly to your speakers..... unless you have some super efficient speakers like the Klipsch LaScalas as there is no amp in the Autopatch.

I know that there is no amp in there. I have a Xantech 1235x amp. So I have that piece covered....
I just want the autopatch to be an audio switcher and no video. So it seems the 16x24 Autopatch I got is only video...so not what I need.

I think it would be worth experimenting with one input card and one out put card..... take the left and right channels from your sound card and run them in to one card on the AP and then take the zone out and run that to your amp. I would then play something with the volume very low and gradually increase it. I am not a technician but I think that it may work as long as you can adjust the volume prior to the AP.
