Topic thoughts for this session:

1) State of the SageTV & Vista Media Center drivers. (can we display recently recorded shows in a custom CQC UI yet, and can we select a show for playback from the CQC UI?)

2) CCTV using the AverMedia NV5000 card (that's me), which is something that anyone can easily buy, as opposed to the Kodicomm. That might be a stretch, given that I won't actually be building that machine until 2-3 days before this meeting.

Any other thoughts?

we need an idea session. i would like to simply pass the 'Show My Screen' so others can show off what they can do. i need to get some new ideas on how to design for all of this new stuff ive added. :-D

Meaning you want to round-robin and have everyone show their setup?

also gonna need a refresher on states. at least i think i need states. new template design needs to have a quadrant of the screen that will change based on what is selected and playing (not overlays) for various things like random buttons, transport controls, etc.
