Now that I bought that scaler off Dean, i'm going to go ahead and sell the Sony VGP-XL1B CD/DVD Changer I bought off amazon. I haven't even opened it up yet.
It's $300 on amazon plus shipping, I'll sell this one for $240 plus $25 shipping.

I may be interested:
1. Does one "have" to have MCE, or will XP Home + WMP work?
2. How does this (if it does) integrate with CQC?
Thanks
Jim

YOu don't have to have MCE, but you'll have to get a file that's only on MCE (and probably Vista) that provides the driver for these types of Firewire changers.
It doesn't integrate yet, but once I'm doing with the Z-Wave driver, I'll move on to the firewire changer.

Dean,
Could you give us an update on the Sony firewire changer driver. Mark, the friend that I helped with CQC, has one. So we're anxious to give it a try.
Thanks,
Bryan

It had to get pushed off a little bit to work on the MCE driver, and there's still some work to do on that. It'll get into 2.1, assuming I can figure out how to do it. It wouldn't be able to come out before that anyway, since it's a C++ driver and requires adding a fair amount of new low level system interfaces to the code base as well.
