Whats playing, CD or DVD?

Is there a field that shows what type of media is playing, eg CD or DVD?

Actually, there isn't currently a standard field that would indicate this. I'd have to add a field to the renderer drivers that exposes the media type.

Could you make it indicate CD, DVD Music, DVD Movie?

That information isn't really available to the repository. It only knows whether it's music or movies. If the player program makes a CD/DVD indicator available, then that could be exposed I guess.
