I have to give some exposure to this band I just ran across, St. Vincent. Really cool stuff, with a great female guitarist/composer/singer. The music has a lot of influences from synth pop to maybe shoegaze to prog rock and other bits.

I can't stop listening to this particular tune, Surgeon. During the choruses she's throwing out some very intricate licks while singing. Pretty impressive.

I've seen a number of his videos. Of course he has enormous hands, which doesn't hurt. I'd love to have that Jazz.
