Problem Moving CQC to new Computer

After some pain and suffering, I got everything moved over.  It's pretty amazing how many things are "customized" on your system that you forgot about after 15 years.

Some comments:



[*]The Datalog DB driver which I still use a lot wouldn't use the older version of MS SQL Server, so I had to upgrade to the later versions, which are a good bit different.  After installing MS SQL Server 2019, and MS SQL Server Management Studio 18.1, and doing a backup and restore of the old one, I got it up and running.

The Datalog driver is something I used to use, but dropped it the last time I switched servers (probably 8 years ago).  Would you mind doing a new "walk though" on how you got it working.  The original walk through was out of date before and I'm sure it is really out of date now.

Databases are just something that have never "clicked" with me.  So while I can manage to get through most of this stuff, that driver/system set up has always been a struggle for me.

Yeh, you tell the driver what voice to use, mostly since (because it runs in the background) it may not be under the same account as what you are logged in as and setting up defaults for.

On the DataLog DB driver, the only thing I did was this:

1.  Installed the SQL2019 Server Express from here:  https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Download...?id=101064
   
2. Installed the SQL Server Management Studio from here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/ssm...nload-ssms
   

I did backup my old databases from the old server and import them into the new SQL database, which bypassed some of the steps that were required.  Outside of that, I followed all of the directions from the initial thread on setting it up and using the ODBC 32 bit Data Resources to get the two to talk to each other.
