Help with Log File Error
#1
Hi

Can anyone help with this message?  It's so cryptic that I can't work out what's wrong.  Nothing on my server has been changed by me so I suspect windows has gone and done something on its own.  I have paused every driver but the message persists:

{
    CQCDataSrv, CQCDataSrv_FileAccServerImpl.cpp.3720, Failed/Authority, Error: 3010/0/0
    You do not have the necessary rights to perform the requested operation
      <CQCDataSrv> CIDOrb_ThisFacility.cpp - 611
      <CQCEventSrv> CQCRemBrws_DataSrvAccClientProxy.cpp - 376
      <CQCEventSrv> CQCEventSrv_ThisFacility2.cpp - 395
      <CQCEventSrv> CQCEventSrv_ThisFacility.cpp - 1820

}

What operation is it trying to do?

EDIT: If I try to pause any of the custom events (for example, a scheduled task that turns a light on at 6am), I get the following error: The event server could not be contacted.

I have rebooted several times, turned the firewall off, changed permissions, but nothing helps. To my knowledge, nothing on the computer has been changed in ages. Has my CQC install gotten corrupted somehow?

EDIT2: I have reinstalled version 6 and the problem persists, including the inability to pause any user events.

Move up to the latest version in the beta section, which is:

https://www.charmedquark.com/Web2/Downlo..._6_0_7.exe

I've not put it up officially, but this I think will fix that issue.

Hi Dean

Thanks, that fixed my issue with both this and the sonos drivers log messages ("Some fields of this driver got no initial values. Up to the first 8 are displayed").

I was without CQC for 4 days - it was awful!!  I rely so much on my installation, even though it is a small one.  Please don't ever go away!

Heart Heart Heart  This 100% .. CQC has a 99.99999% up time in this house.

It's been such an amazing part for so long I couldn't imagine life without it. Why?!

I would go as far as saying it's one of the best/most reliable Windows applications to date.. possibly ever!

Thank you Dean and Mark!
