Would this be fast enough for using as a tablet with CQC?

A Surface Pro variant would be the ideal choice. I will be moving to them as well.

I have noticed some lower end surfaces that are also new...will they work...they are. Ot the pro, I think one was a GO.

They all work very well, especially if the only thing running is the CQC Interface Viewer.

Don't know for sure but I think I've heard that some of the low end Surface tablets run a Windows version that can't have software like CQC installed. Maybe this changed.

Yup, I have one of the original surface tablets that has a proprietary version on it, and it cannot accept anything but apps. I am currently using a Samsung Win 7 tablet, but it is in its last legs, so I am looking for a new tablet, now.

Would highly recommend a Surface Go or the like. You will get the full CQC IV experience, especially with Text 2 Speech via the Surface Go speakers.
