Can't rip any cd's to CQC repository

Whenever I rip CD's I always use a separate program to add the metadata and cover are to not only the files, but to the album itself. That is, all of my rip'd CD's has a "folder.jpg" with the cover art for that album.

Artist 01\Album 01\folder.jog
Artist 01\Album 02\folder.jog

I've never been able to fully and reliably automate this process. I have over 500GB of music and have been through this many times.

It would be nice if CQC could scan our HDDs to retrieve all of our music, and movies. I have almost 20TB of music, and movies on my NAS now, and I am not about to rwscan all those again. Is there a reason CQC is not able to scan them?

It would require access to a pretty extensive metadata source with some sort of lookup by name scheme or something.
