Runtime Values
#1
Wanted to ask about Runtime values. Are they specific to each IV client or to the master?

I plan to have a master CQC instance, then have my IV's running on Window's tablets running CQC (for IV display only) as well but pointing to the master CQC instance.

In this case, would the Runtime value (time, date, IP Address, etc.) be specific to the master CQC server or to the Window's tablets running CQC (for IV display only)?

Well, in the case of WebRIVA it's a bit tricky since the actual IV is running in the WebServer. So the time and date would be for the server. I think that the clients pass their IP and host to the engine so it can report them correctly. The old RIVAs did. If the WebRIVA ones don't they could do that. The time and date being different would only matter if you are accessing it remotely, and the other stuff is either specific to the sender of the event (which is specific to the IV instance), or wouldn't matter much which they came from (like CQC version or current user name.)

The environmental ones are specific to the client as well of course, since that's what they exist for.

Not WebRIVA. I mentioned in my post separate Windows tablets running CQC (IV only) and pointing to the CQC master server.

So, yeh, those are all local to the IV then.
