I should have mentioned that new versions of the image packs are linked to in the help. On the main help page, the last link on the left is Downloads, and the image packs are under there. These were made after the format change.

I posted version 5.4.907. There's a lot more in this than is listed since most of it is stuff working towards Linux support in the CIDLib layer. But there are a number of fixes and improvements, some of which have come out of the work I've also been doing to enable static code analysis available in Visual Studio 2019, which I'm now using (well, then compiler/linker bits of it, not the IDE.)

There's been some connectivity issues reported which I've also been trying to diagnose and hopefully this will deal with that, but we'll see. Sometimes some of the servers will become non-responsive, sometimes for a short period, sometimes sort of permanently. This is probably related to changes in the initialization of static objects in the ORB, but we'll see.

As always, let the installer do a backup for you. These recent drops have many more fundamental changes than is usual, because of the Linux support work. So, no matter how much I test, you may find some glitch in some particular bit of the system given your particular setup.

Installed the update and it nuked all of my GC-100's and SONOS, so now none of my TV's or SONOS work.

How do I roll back to 906?

For some reason the GC-100's are now set to IGMP which is extremely bizarre!

Hmmmm... that's pretty weird. The rollback was already covered via e-mail, but anyone else reading, it's:

1. Hopefully you let the installer do a backup. If so, there's a date/version stamped directory for each backup, and it just holds the contents of the CQC directory (minus the SaveInst directory.)
2. If not, and you only ran the installer once, then it moves the previous contents of the CQC directory down to CQC\SaveInst.
3. In either of the above cases, stop CQC, make sure all CQC processes (services, tray apps, GUI apps, etc.. are stopped) and copy the saved contents back to the CQC directory, overwriting what's there. Or, even more save, move the CQC directory somewhere, create a new one, then copy the saved contents back there. Make sure you get it in the right place. There should be a Bin and CQCData directory under CQC.
4. Run the installer for the version you went back to, just to be safe.

If you have multiple systems, you have to have upgraded them all, or bad things can happen. And, you need to upgrade them according to the safe upgrade scheme described in the release notes. Otherwise, you can have old code trying to talk to new code, or even worse downloading new code to run, and it can make a mess of things. You should stop cqc everywhere, upgrade the MS. Give it a quick check to make sure it looks ok. Then upgrade the other machines.

OK, I very stupidly added a new IP protocol type and didn't put it at the end. Sigh...

I assume this fix will take some time to roll out?
