Will you still be supporting Windows 7, or are we going to be required to upgrade to newer versions?

Windows 7 is end of life for active support very soon now, like the end of the year I think. So at some point we will move forward to Windows 10, but not in in the immediate near term or anything.

I just installed the latest beta, and now my Yamaha CXA5100 driver is listed in red text as if it is not connected, but it shows connected.

You mean it's red in the drivers list in the browser window? Does it actually work when you try to use it via the driver?

I noticed that a lot of the ImgPacks have bot been updated to CQCImgStore2 and thus the images have been removed from interfaces.
Is it as simple as renaming the file? or is there an underlining file change

I'm not completely sure I understand. The image packs themselves are just external files that hold images. Any files already imported should be updated during the ugprade process. Any images in older image packs should in theory, upon being imported, be updated as well.
Where you are seeing non-updated images? I assume this is after you just upgraded or something, right?

Yes this is after updating. For example, when I navigate to CQCData\DataServer\Images\System\ImgPacks\Lilliput, there are only CQCImgStore files. But in CQCData\DataServer\Images\System\ImgPacks\RonsButtons\Round there are both CQCImgStore and CQCImgStore2 files. It seems that the update process reimported this pack and thus upgraded the files. but the other system imgpacks don't appear to be upgraded.

I'm guessing that there was a bad image in there somewhere and the installer stopped processing them. It should have reported those, but maybe it didn't. Probably it logged something to the installer log file that would tell us which one it is.
If you look in: C:\Users\[youraccount]\AppData\Local\Temp
there should be a CQC install log file in there somewhere from the last install. It's just a text file. Let's take a look in there and see if there are errors about it failing on an image upgrade. The immediate fix will be to get rid of the bad image so that it can complete the conversion, and you can send me the image so that I can see maybe why it failed to convert.

Reran the 5.4.902 installer, no errors

It wouldn't try to do them again, since it thinks any that need it are already done. It would only have done it the first time crossing that divide. The above messages are just about it copying over the image pack files from the installer image.
If you let it do a backup you could put that back and run it again and get the log.
