On a side note, I have one tablet that has V 9.0.1 of the Windows Controller, and it does not provide the options, but if you have V 9.1 of the Windows Controller Software (which I have on two Windows computers) these options show up.
It makes no difference, that option only allows you to defer updates for a little while, then they are forced on you. Trust me, I've tried. It is infuriating - when I started my collection of Sonos speakers years ago, there were very few updates, mostly just little fixes about once a year, but now they are so intrusive and SO frustrating when you've paid good money and have no control over your own kit! But I've spent too much money to just chuck them out and buy something new.
Dean, are you able to give us a version with the error commented out? The Sonos is so integral to my routines that other stuff is falling over too, so it would be useful if the drivers could at least connect even if they are not fully functional yet.
I looked just now to see if there's any way to do what i did last time and take over more of the UPnP functionality, but it's not possible in this case. We can't manually create a UPnP Service object. So I guess I will have to remove it, at least for now.
Looks like .909 fixed my "Sonos Connect" but not my "Sonos Play:1". Does that make sense?
Removed and re-added driver for both + power cycled the Sonos hardware.
Here is the log and device_description.xlm
thx

Both Sonos devices are Connected now. Not sure why. I bounced the server today and it came back online. not sure why a normal delete/re-add of driver didn't work yesterday.
Thanks again
